Looking back.. :)

I love Newborns! Their little fingers and toes, the wispy hair, the new skin, and the little belly button.
       My decision to become a doula,  (also to take on the role of Ob Educator at Esperanza Health Center) was born out of a desire to serve women and families. I want to offer encouragement and help them to embrace pregnancy as a normal and natural process.
      When a child enters the world it is transformational, and families experience great physical, emotional, and spiritual change. It is my goal to support and nurture mothers, babies, and their family members throughout this process.

Doulas are for woman having a baby, whether it is natural homebirth or a scheduled cesarean or anything in between. I am there to support you in the birth you want.
















Here I am (below) at the beginning of this journey, a class filled with ladies eager to learn about becoming a Doula. I appreciation all I learned and was taught then. I feel so blessed looking back now and see how things have blossomed since. :)
